Memorial Resolution 70:6

The Rev. Daniel Bannan

The Rev. Daniel Bannan, a long-time member of the South Atlantic Presbytery, went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2004, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army, military chaplain, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, chaplain to the American Guild of Organists, teacher, musician, and actor for the Washington County Historical Society, and worked on the County Board of Elections. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, five children and five grandchildren.

“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead
which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest
from their labours; and their works do follow them” (Revelation 14:13).
