Westminster Shorter Catechism Project

It is worth while to be a Shorter Catechism boy. They grow to be men.
And better than that, they are exceedingly apt to grow to be men of God.

— B. B. Warfield

This project was started in November of 1997, about 350 years after the Westminster Confession and Catechisms were written (1642-1647). It is provided as a means of studying sound doctrine. We do not believe that the Westminster Standards are without error. You may not agree with every opinion that is found here, and not everything is necessarily endorsed by the Bible Presbyterian Church. "Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar" (Romans 3:4) You must end up with the Christ of the Scriptures in your studies, or your studies will be in vain.
